Wine of The Month at Blue Anchor
For September, our Wine of the Month is a white wine – Albariño by Domingo Martin from Rias Baixas, Spain. Albariño has the full fruitedness and freshness to straddle the transition from Summer to Autumn. With its crisp, saline edge it hits the perfect notes to pair with most fish dishes and it has enough body to keep up with pies. Expect notes of baked apple, pear and zippy citrus. Also great on its own!
